That guilty pleasure that America loves to hate, “Jersey Shore” has already gone from the Jersey shore to South Beach, and (oh great) it looks like the series is going global with the fist pumping cast heading to Europe for the fourth season of their hit reality show! MTV Networks recently announced plans that will have snooki packing her orange tanner for a transatlantic trip to Italy, motherland of all Guido’s and Guidettes. Along with raiding the shores they have taken a stand in the Halloween costumes industry.

Production for this saucy display of American culture will begin in the spring, with the show airing later in the year. The VP of MTV Programming Chris Linn had this to say “While the stateside ‘Jersey Shore’ locales have become iconic for our audience it’s really the constantly evolving dynamic amongst the cast that keeps them coming back each season” he added “The cast is headed to the birthplace of the culture they love and live by. We can’t wait to see what erupts as a result.” This will bring a whole new meaning to reality television.

There is still speculation on where the show will be filmed within Italy. One cast member, Vinny Guadagnino, has family ties in Italy. There are plans for his relatives to host a traditional Italian Dinner for him and his friends when they arrive.
