Princess Eye Makeup for Your Princess Costumes

Every little Girl’s dream is being swept off her feet by a rich and dashing young prince. The first step in seeing your fantasies come true is getting your eyes on! If you don’t want to go with what you see above, here are a few basic steps to beautiful princess eye make up to complete your princess Halloween costumes:
- First apply a skin color face makeup over your entire face. Apply a sheer primer onto the eyelid to prevent the eyeshadow from creasing. This will give you a nice smooth base for applying this royal treatment.
- Choose the color you would like for your eyeshadow and add one drop of water. If you are looking forward to a royal ball, you might consider a nice blue. Once you have used an eyeshadow brush to pat the color onto your eyelid, stroke your brush over your eyelid to evenly distribute the color.
- Apply a different complimenting color with some shimmer on top of the base color. Use darker colors on the outer part of the eye and more pastel colors toward the inside. If you used blue as your base you might try green shades for this. Take a blending brush and gently fade out the colors, but do not completely mix them.
- Select a lighter shade of the same color you used as your base on top and apply it to the bottom lid. Then draw a thin edge over that color using a black eyeliner pencil. Lastly apply Mascara to the upper and lower lashes, and if you have two eyes, repeat the process!
